🌳 Skillforests Workshop

Design Your Personal Skill Growth Tree

What is this workshop?

Most people know what they want to achieve, but struggle to answer an important question:

“What skills should I develop next?”

In this interactive workshop, you will create your own Skill Tree—a visual map that helps you identify where you are today, where you want to go, and which skills will help you get there.

Rather than leaving with another checklist or action plan, you’ll leave with a clear and motivating picture of your personal growth journey.

What you will do

During this 90-minute hands-on workshop, you will:

  • Reflect on your personal or professional goal
  • Identify the key skills needed to reach that goal
  • Organize those skills into your own visual Skill Tree
  • Exchange ideas and receive feedback from other participants
  • Leave with a practical roadmap for your future learning

No preparation is required.

What you will take home

By the end of the session, you will have:

  • Your own completed Skill Tree
  • A clearer understanding of your next learning priorities
  • A simple framework you can continue developing after the workshop
  • An introduction to the ideas behind Skillforests

Who should join?

This workshop is for anyone who wants to grow intentionally, including:

  • Professionals planning their career
  • Engineers and technical specialists
  • Team leaders
  • Managers
  • Anyone interested in continuous learning and personal development

No prior knowledge is required.

About Skillforests

Skillforests is a new approach to skill development that makes learning visible, engaging, and actionable.

Instead of treating skills as long spreadsheets or annual assessments, Skillforests visualizes growth as a living tree that evolves together with you.

This workshop is an opportunity to experience the concept firsthand and help shape its future through your feedback.

We look forward to learning and growing together.

Facilitators

Juliusz Fedyk

Juliusz Fedyk is the founder of Skillforests and a product leader with a passion for helping people and organizations make skill development more meaningful, visible, and engaging.

Several years ago, while working with engineering teams, he recognized that traditional competency matrices and skill assessments rarely motivated people to grow or provided an accurate picture of organizational capabilities. This insight led him to develop the first concept of Skillforests—a visual, tree-based approach that transforms skill development into a clear and engaging growth journey.

Since then, Juliusz has continued refining the concept through practical application, combining product thinking, user experience, and organizational learning to create a framework that helps individuals, teams, and organizations grow with purpose.
